Board of Directors

Matthijs is the General Manager for the Surgical Innovation business at GE Healthcare. In this role he is responsible for providing surgical visualization, navigation and guidance solutions for a wide range of interventions leveraging a portfolio of C-arm, inverventional Ultrasound, and software offerings. Previously, Matthijs held a variety of leadership roles within the Philips Healthcare division in the Image Guided Therapy and Ultrasound businesses. During his time at Philips, he was responsible for several large integrations (among which Spectranetics and Volcano) and led the Point of Care and Women’s Healthcare ultrasound businesses. Also, he was the CEO of TOMTEC GmbH, a cardiovascular clinical workflow solution provider. Prior to his time at Philips, he has been a management consultant.

Throughout his career, he has lived and worked in multiple countries across the globe, including Shanghai, China, Boston and Colorado Springs, USA, and Munich, Germany. Matthijs holds a Master of Science degree and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from University of Technology Delft, The Netherlands, as well as an Executive Master of Business Administration from the Erasmus University in Rotterdam, The Netherlands.

Mr. Kaczynski retired in 2023 as an executive officer of Marathon Petroleum Corporation, a Fortune 25 oil and gas corporation and the largest refiner of petroleum products in North America.  While at Marathon Petroleum, he served as senior vice president, finance and treasurer. He also served as senior vice president, finance and treasurer for MPLX GP LLC.  During his tenure, he had responsibility for all treasury activities, including capital markets, cash management, bank and rating agency relations and insurance.  He also led the finance function, including financial strategy for mergers and acquisitions, budget and business planning, investment and capital planning, along with investor relations.

Prior to joining Marathon Petroleum in 2015, he served as vice president and treasurer of The Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company, where he had responsibility for all treasury related activities. While at Goodyear, he also served as vice president, investor relations.

Mr. Kaczynski also held management positions at Ford Motor Company, along with a portfolio company held by private equity group Cypress Capital, where he served as vice president and corporate treasurer.

Mr. Kaczynski earned a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering from Michigan State University, a Master of Science degree in engineering from Oklahoma State University, and a Master of Business Administration degree in international business and finance from the University of Chicago.  His studies also include numerous executive development programs, including the University of Navara, IESE Business School in Barcelona Spain, China Europe International Business School in Shanghai China and the Oxford Institute for Energy Studies at Oxford University.

Outside of work Mina works with a number of non-profit organizations and his church focused on medical, social and spiritual services and missions. Glenn Raudins is a technology leader, software architect, and team lead, with over 25 years of experience across startups and big med-tech, focused on Medical Imaging and 3D visualization markets.

Glenn has worked in a number of medical device industries, including CT/MR/US imaging, radiation therapy, EP and cardiac mapping. His experience includes developing and delivering a diverse range of products, including a company-wide medical imaging common platform, non-invasive cardiac mapping system, radiation treatment planning, MRI-guided radiation delivery software, CT scanner visualization software, photorealistic lighting and rendering software, visual simulation industry geometric modeling and real-time animation tool.

His specialties include medical imaging, software architectures, 3D visualization, segmentation. Recent work includes augmented reality, tracking, machine learning, computer vision, cloud, analytics, and telemedicine. Prior to MediView, Glenn started a company focused on medical imaging platform development, managed software engineering at ViewRay, oversaw next-generation cardiac mapping designs at Medtronic and was a Software Architect at Philips Healthcare on the Philips Common Platform for medical imaging applications.

Greg Miller was the former CIO and a Co-Founder of CentraComm Communications, a leading managed service provider established in 2001. Before starting CentraComm, Greg led a software development team in the creation of tools and data acquisition components for SCADA systems. Greg brings to MediView a unique blend of technical and engineering competencies that serve him well as CISO. In this role, Greg is responsible for managing all MediView systems infrastructure as well as leading the design of systems processes and rollout. Greg was a Scholar-Athlete at Purdue University, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree with distinction in Mechanical Engineering Technology. He also has achieved numerous certifications relevant to his industry related to systems, networking, and security.

Professional Experience

Erik Keener, CFA has a passion for all things finance.  On the corporate side, he has served in roles of increasing responsibility from an early-career role at a technology giant to leading finance and strategy for multiple companies.  As a buy-side investment professional, he rose from analyst to chief investment officer and has provided modeling and valuation support for transactions across a variety of industries.  Erik graduated magna cum laude from the University of Notre Dame and is a CFA charterholder.  He is an active volunteer with the CFA Institute, Notre Dame alumni clubs, and has supported entrepreneurship around the world for 20+ years.  He lives in Raleigh, NC with his wife and three sons.

Terri Helms has been working in Human Resource for over 20 years.  She has worked in a variety of different industries including automotive interiors, injection mold manufacturing, casino operations, and managed services/cybersecurity.  One of Terri’s primary roles at MediView is to build a dynamic, passionate, and well-rounded team of individuals to uphold the company’s mission and continue the development of the company’s visions.  Outside of work, Terri enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters.  She also has a love of music and dancing and is a tap dance instructor.

Darcy Bajko is a dynamic leader in commercialization, sales, and customer success.  She has a robust 18-year background in enhancing customer experiences and driving business growth through new product launches, training and education. She has a proven track record of success in sales management, having significantly boosted revenue and integrated new product lines in her previous roles at Smith & Nephew, Integra and OrthoHelix, another Ohio born start-up. Darcy lives in Cleveland, Ohio with her husband and two sons. She is passionate about bringing technologies to patients to improve outcomes and help change lives.

Adam Cargill brings in-depth knowledge as an experienced regulatory and quality professional with experience in medical device companies including orthopedic, cardiovascular, image guided therapy, radiology, ophthalmic, and augmented reality.  He has strategically brought companies into compliance with ISO 13485:2016, EU MDR, and MDSAP as well as led companies through successful FDA inspections and Notified Body audits, and merged acquisitions into purchaser’s quality management systems.  Adam has also developed global regulatory strategies aligning with the business needs and authored global submissions for medical devices.  When not working, he enjoys spending time with his beautiful wife, Grace, and his amazing daughter Everly (Evie), who keeps him very busy and love traveling the world together, especially Europe.

Professional Experience

Dr. Gadodia is a board-certified vascular & interventional radiologist. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering at Northwestern University, and his medical degree from Emory University in Atlanta, GA. He then completed an internship in general surgery at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle, WA, followed by diagnostic radiology residency including a year of Early Specialization in Interventional Radiology (ESIR) at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, OH. He completed his training as an independent interventional radiology resident/fellow physician in Milwaukee, WI at the world-renowned Medical College of Wisconsin VIR program.

His areas of interest include percutaneous treatment of musculoskeletal pathologies including fractures and osseous tumors, pain interventions, uterine artery embolization for fibroids and adenomyosis, portal hypertension, management of peripheral arterial disease, aorto-iliac interventions, venous disease, interventional oncology, and several other areas of IR.

He has authored several peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters, and has given presentations at specialty conferences both national and internationally.

Amy Grey is a Med-tech product marketing leader experienced in launch and commercialization of products in the medical device and digital health sectors, spanning across oncology, cardiology and the advanced wound healing spaces. Prior to joining MediView XR, Amy served as Director of Product and Marketing Strategy at Baxter overseeing its portfolio of remote cardiac monitoring solutions and was also responsible for the implantable port and central venous catheter product franchises at Becton Dickinson. From launching wearable technologies to helping make startups thrive, Amy’s passion lies at the intersection of science, art, medicine and technology and bringing to market innovative, practice-altering products.

Executive Advisory Board

Sabeen Shaikh is a healthcare executive with nearly 20 years of experience in the industry, who has held global commercial leadership roles between large multi-nationals and scaling start-ups.  Sabeen’s expertise is focused in corporate strategy, commercial strategy, bringing new technologies to the developed and developing markets, change management and executive business leadership to build scalable businesses.  She consults on a various range of health technologies that include hardware and software offerings across the Class 1 to Class 3 devices, as well as across a broad range of different clinical specialties.

Sabeen currently works across the breadth of the innovation ecosystem, including consulting for various multi-national corporates, venture capital and private equity funds, global start-ups and with a number of governments.  Her work includes, but is not limited to: due diligence for investors on portfolio companies for investment, advisory and Board Directorship roles for investors and companies, building out global commercial strategies and international business operations for scaling companies, Executive-in-Residence roles such as Interim-CEO or Chief Commercial Officer for companies, and expert committee member in MedTech for government bodies.

Sabeen is passionate about healthcare access and the new market technology opportunities.  She speaks on national and regional platforms about innovation trends, frugal and reverse innovation, and the needs to bridge the gaps within the innovation ecosystems between stakeholders.  Sabeen is also passionate about the global innovation trends and where healthcare needs to be in the future.

Sabeen studied in the USA for her undergraduate degree and has continued further executive education with the INSEAD Business School.

Dr. Patel has a BSE in Bioengineering from the University of Pennsylvania, and an MD from Harvard Medical School. He completed his Radiology Residency and Interventional Radiology Fellowship at UC San Francisco. Dr. Patel’s experience in clinical practice, R&D, lower/middle market companies, and healthcare operations has allowed him to provide value to multiple startups and investment firms over the last decade. He has helped companies grow from early stage to IPO with valuations over $10B. Dr. Patel’s interests are in interventional/diagnostic radiology, advanced visualization, consumer/digital health, med devices, and artificial intelligence. Dr. Patel has also worked extensively with over a dozen med tech companies and has operational experience with capital raising, advanced R&D, product development, management, marketing, clinical implementation, FDA clearance, and CMS reimbursement. He was previously Founder/CEO of an NIH funded startup in the interventional radiology space based on a chemotherapy medical device. Dr. Patel’s work has been published in multiple peer-reviewed publications and he has presented at numerous international conferences. He continues to work with multiple University of California campuses on several technology development initiatives.

Mark Griswold, PhD, is a professor in the Department of Radiology at Case Western Reserve University and University Hospitals in Cleveland, Ohio, with secondary appointments in Biomedical Engineering, Physics, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. With an imaging research lab located within the clinical space at University Hospitals Case Medical Center, Dr. Griswold advances Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) science with immediate field-level input from radiologists and clinicians to validate and refine research concepts and initial results.

Dr. Griswold is also the Faculty Director of the Interactive Commons (IC), an institute that focuses on developing inventive solutions from a collaborative model that has shown the value of combining expertise from divergent fields. The IC provides a structure, personnel and technology to bring people together, change perspectives and solve big problems. The IC features the Microsoft HoloLens mixed-reality headset which is being used to teach courses and drive research throughout Case Western Reserve University and Cleveland Clinic.

Dr. Griswold is known for his research in developing fast MRI methods as well as a highly quantitative and objective measurement of tissue states called Magnetic Resonance Fingerprinting (MRF), which was featured in the journal “Nature” in March 2013. He is a fellow of the International Academy of Medical and Biological Engineering (2020), National Academy of Inventors (2017), the American Institute of Medical and Biological Engineering (2012) and the International Society of Magnetic Resonance in Medicine (2009).

Dr. Griswold’s achievements have been recognized through the ISMRM Gold Medal (2017), the MRI Prize from the 11th International MRI Symposium in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany (2005), the Wilhelm C. Röntgen Prize from the University of Wurzburg (2003) and the Bright Stars Award for Investigative Radiology (2001). In 2014, Dr. Griswold was named a NORTECH “Inventor of the Year,” and he received the Case Western Reserve Medal for Excellence in Health Science Innovation, the highest honor bestowed by the School of Medicine.

Dr. Griswold received his BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois and his PhD in Physics from the University of Wurzburg, Germany. Prior to joining Case Western Reserve, Dr. Griswold was director of the RF Coil Development Laboratory at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center/Harvard Medical School.

Brad Hughes has been a global public company Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer and has deep operating and financial expertise. Brad served as President and Chief Executive Officer, and a Board member, of Cooper Tire & Rubber Company from September 1, 2016 until June of 2021. He was elected to the Quanex Building Materials Corporation Board (NX on the NYSE) in May of 2022 and serves on the Audit and the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committees.

Brad joined Cooper Tire in November 2009 as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). In July 2014, he was named President, International Operations and in January 2015, he was named Chief Operating Officer, and served in this role until being named to the CEO position in 2016.

Prior to joining Cooper Tire, Brad spent 23 years with Ford Motor Company in positions of increasing responsibility. Brad gained extensive international experience at Ford Motor Company, where he served in roles such as Global Product Development Controller; Finance Director for South America Operations in Sao Paulo, Brazil; Director of European Business Strategy and Implementation in Cologne, Germany; and European Manufacturing Controller, also in Cologne.

A Detroit native, Hughes earned a bachelor’s degree in business from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio, and earned a master’s degree in business administration (MBA) from the University of Michigan Business School, Ann Arbor, Mich.

Clinical Advisory Board

Dr. Misono is a distinguished interventional radiologist with a wealth of experience in both clinical practice and healthcare consulting. He currently serves as Chief of Interventional Radiology at Hoag’s Sun Family Campus, Irvine and is an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor at USC Keck School of Medicine. His extensive clinical expertise spans interventional and vascular radiology, with a particular focus on innovative procedures and the application of advanced imaging technologies.

Dr. Misono is an avid researcher in the fields of radiology and interventional radiology, having presented or published over 50 scientific presentations, abstracts, book chapters, and peer-reviewed publications. He has been recognized for his contributions to the field of radiology, earning many awards, including the Hoag Innovators Program Winner and fellowship with the Harvard Business School Robert S. Kaplan Life Sciences. He enjoys consulting globally with medical device and med tech companies who strive to advance the capabilities of technologies that enhance patient care.

Dr. Misono is a graduate of Harvard, Harvard Medical School, and Harvard Business School. He completed his internship in internal medicine at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, a Harvard Medical School teaching hospital. He then trained in the Diagnostic Radiology residency program at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School. Following that, he completed fellowship training in Vascular & Interventional Radiology at the world-renowned Miami Cardiac & Vascular Institute. Dr. Misono’s dedication to advancing the field through his clinical practice and consulting globally for medical device industry leaders make him a valuable addition to MediView’s clinical advisory board.

Dr. Cornelis is an accomplished interventional radiologist with a specialized focus in neurointerventional oncology and cancer imaging. His clinical expertise spans a wide range of procedures, including image-guided interventions for both adult and pediatric patients, with a particular emphasis on the treatment of abdominal, spine, bone, and soft tissue tumors through advanced techniques like percutaneous ablation. Dr. Cornelis has also been instrumental in developing and refining image-guided techniques for treating metastatic bone fractures and various neurointerventions for head and neck tumors.

Dr. Cornelis holds an extensive educational background, beginning with his medical degree from the University of Bordeaux in 2003, followed by an MS in Radiophysics from Université Toulouse III Paul Sabatier. He further advanced his expertise with a PhD in Applied Mathematics from the Institut de Mathématiques de Bordeaux and a DSC in Medicine from Université Pierre et Marie Curie, Sorbonne University. His postgraduate training includes residencies in radiology and interventional radiology at the University of Bordeaux, along with a research fellowship at the Sloan Kettering Institute in New York.

Throughout his career, Dr. Cornelis has received numerous accolades, including multiple Distinguished Reviewer Awards from the Journal of Vascular and Interventional Radiology and the Abdominal Radiology journal. He has also been honored with the Alavi-Mandell Award by the Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging and the ESUI Vision Award from the European Society of Urology. His research has led to the publication of several groundbreaking studies in advanced image-guided therapies, making him a key figure in the translation of innovative technologies into clinical practice.

Dr. Tasse has held a long-standing academic appointment at Rush University Medical Center, where he serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Radiology, Division of Interventional Radiology. Since 2017, he has been the Director of Interventional Oncology at Rush University Medical Center, leading advancements in minimally invasive cancer treatments. His leadership roles have also included positions as Interim Program Director for both the integrated and independent interventional radiology residency programs and Associate Program Director for the vascular and interventional radiology fellowship and residency programs.

Dr. Tasse is highly credentialed, holding active certifications and licensures, including a subspecialty CAQ certification in Vascular and Interventional Radiology from the American Board of Radiology. His membership in professional societies, such as the Society of Interventional Oncology and the Society of Interventional Radiology, highlights his commitment to advancing his field. He is also an active participant in teaching and mentorship, having trained numerous fellows, residents, and medical students throughout his career, making significant contributions to the academic and clinical development of future medical professionals. Dr. Tasse completed his Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and Chemistry from Ohio University, received his Master’s in Physiology from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science, and earned his Doctor of Medicine from the Chicago Medical School and Rosalind Franklin U-Med and Science.

Dr. Pua brings an extensive background in interventional radiology and thoracic radiology to the MediView clinical advisory board. He completed his medical degree at the New York University Grossman School of Medicine and followed it with a rigorous residency and fellowship training at top institutions, including NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center. With over a decade of experience, Dr. Pua has held academic positions at Weill Cornell Medical College, currently serving as an Associate Professor of Radiology and Cardiothoracic Surgery. His leadership roles include serving as Chief of the Division of Interventional Radiology and Medical Director at the David H. Koch Ambulatory Care Center.

Dr. Pua’s professional achievements reflect his commitment to advancing lung cancer care and minimally invasive treatments. He is the Director of the Weill Cornell Medicine Lung Cancer Screening Program and has pioneered clinical innovations, including the expansion of lung cancer screening and the development of image-guided intervention techniques. His research contributions focus on early detection and minimally invasive therapies for lung cancer, and he has led several significant clinical trials, including the study of cryoablation for lung tumors. Dr. Pua’s multidisciplinary collaborations have positioned him as a key figure in enhancing patient outcomes through advanced technology integration.

Among his numerous accolades, Dr. Pua has been recognized with the Valentine Mott Award from NYU Langone Health and the Distinguished House Staff Award from Weill Cornell Medical Center. He has also been listed in the New York Times as a “New York Super Doctor” since 2018. His leadership extends beyond clinical practice, serving as a mentor to the next generation of medical professionals and contributing extensively to the field of interventional radiology through his research, publications, and national presentations.
